1/4"TRS Patch Cable

The EWI IP-101 is a medium professional grade 1/4" TRS balanced patch cable. This cable is made from the same EWI Starline tm cable stock that regular Starline tm mic cable is made from; however, it is equipped with 1/4" TRS ends rather than XLR ends. This patch cable is suitable for interconnects between electronic equipment equipped with 1/4" TRS balanced connection jacks. Of course, this TRS patch cable will generally work in most applications requiring a 1/4" TS cable as well. The IP series cables are equipped with the EWI P-292S-B connector, which has a black anodized shell and gold plated anode as shown in the pictures. The ends on the under 18" and shorter IP cables are EWI P-292S, which are a nickel silver connector as shown in the one picture below. If you order IP series cables 18" or shorter and want all black shell ends, please specify that since I can equip these cables with either shell. I just use the nickel shells to help identify the really short cables at a glance. The IP series cables are constructed with the EWI Starline tm cable, which is two strands of 22 ga. 99.98% high copper purity main conductors plus 95% coverage braided shield. This cable offers decent noise rejection in short runs, yet is extremely flexible. The PVC jacket adds the flexibility and is moderately resistant to tangling.
